Sara Benevente

Sara is a first year graduate student researching dynamic biological systems modeling. Her current project focuses on the seasonal feeding responses of organisms found in the Great Salt Lake, primarily brine shrimp. Sara received her MPH from Georgia Southern University in 2015 with a concentration in Environmental Health Sciences. There, she studied bacterial contamination of urban beaches. Her current interests include science policy, community outreach, and dancing in the kitchen to forgotten 90s R&B hits.
